Nowadays, more people are becoming atheist then ever. I for one am an atheist, and I wanted to create a thread not only discussing atheism, but religion as a whole. I want all of fakepunch to discuss their views on their religion, and other religion.

I for one think that ALL religion was a way thousands of years ago for people to explain what they just couldn't explain, due to the fact that their scientific knowledge was minimal. Now people still believe it. That is just my opinion. I mean, the bible is so against technology and science, yet Christians use cars, computers, etc. Think about it.

I'm an athiest, and I hate religion. But, I hide both of those facts most of the time. If everybody at my school figured out that I was athiest, I'd never hear the end of it.
They're too many conservative christians in my local area.
